4th of July is right around the corner and we enjoy getting out and celebrating with our families and friends. One good thing about this area is that we have a number of special events to choose from to celebrate and enjoy this Patriotic day. If you plan ahead, you may be able to go to more than one!
Here are some of the great 4th of July events happening in Tracy for 2018:
Tracy’s 4th of July Celebration 2018 in Lincoln Park
The Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual 4th of July celebration. The event begins with a hot air balloon lift and pancake breakfast in Lincoln Park. Opening festivities and music begin at 8 AM with food vendors, arts and crafts, children’s activities, and entertainment. The parade begins at 10 AM. The evening festivities are held at the Peter B. Kyne football field and will feature clowns Miss Sparkles and Ravioli and a fireworks show.
Time: 8 AM – All day
Price: Free at Lincoln Park and $4 for Adults and $2 for ages 2-12 at the football field

Stockton Waterfront Fireworks Extravaganza 2018
The waterfront fireworks show has been happening for years and is held by Barron Hilton, from Hilton Hotels. It’s considered the biggest annual party in Northern California and also the largest gathering of private boats.
You can come by boat if you have one or simply drive over. You can see the fireworks from the Village West Marina, the Delta Loop, and the Windmill Cove. It’s an impressive display you won’t want to miss.

4th of July Parade in Downtown Stockton
The 4th of July Parade in Stockton is always exciting. The event is organized by the United Veteran’s Council. The parade is set to begin at 10 AM with street closures starting at 9:30. The route begins at Miner, goes North on El Dorado, West to Oak Street, South to El Dorado, and then to Weber Point. It’s a fun and free event to get the family out celebrating America.
